Now Hiring - Sales and Marketing Manager in Elon, NC

Summary: The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering required sales revenue and profit in assigned sales categories and territories, and for creating effective marketing programs and materials to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve required revenue and profit goals in each sales category (e.g., web, wholesale/distributors, direct ship, retail store) and assigned territories
• Identify, develop, and deliver incremental sales from established and new markets
• Self-starter (Proactive, takes initiative, works independently, speaks up)
• Develop and maintain contacts in each sales category and territory
• Effectively communicate offerings to sales contacts to drive increased revenue
• Develop new sales markets and contacts. Maintain accurate records of sales contacts
• Drive brand identity and consumer engagement through creation and placement of effective marketing tools and materials
• Create effective visuals and copy for company website, social media videos, store posters, and other marketing materials
• Effectively use Adobe Art software and camera to create marketing and sales materials
• Identify effective trade shows and manage participation requirements. Travel to meet in person with sales contacts, attend trade shows, etc.
• Arrange and attend sampling shows at critical grocery store locations
• Keep POS sheets up to date
• Other such responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: the position requires the following:

• 1-3 years sales and marketing experience. Food industry experience is a plus
• Demonstrate ability to routinely achieve or exceed sales goals
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication, and follow-up skills
• Demonstrate proficiency with required software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative)
• Must demonstrate deep knowledge of, and passion for the company's product
• Demonstrate creativity by developing effective sales and marketing tools as well as use of company website and social media
• High degree of accuracy and ability to identify workable solutions
• Must be highly organized and have ability to work in efficient manner
• Have ability to travel to assigned markets as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
